This website

fosscast.org describes a piece of free software and tells you how to install it. It sells nothing and asks for nothing. We keep it accurate and correct it when it is wrong, but it is documentation rather than a warranty.

The software

FOSSCast is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. That license is the agreement: it grants you the right to run, study, change and share the software, and it says plainly that there is no warranty. Nothing on this website adds to it, takes anything away from it, or replaces it.

Because you run it on your own machine, what your instance does is your responsibility: the content you publish, the law where you are, and the people whose data you hold.

The name

FOSSCast is the name of the software and stays with it. You may run it, change it and share your changes under the same license. What you may not do is take the name and use it for something else in a way that suggests we made it.

Links to other places

Where this site links elsewhere, including to hosted FOSSCast, that is a signpost rather than an endorsement of everything at the other end.

Governing law

This website is published by Lightmorphic Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17423646. Anything about the website itself is governed by the law of England and Wales. The software is governed by its license.
